Expanded perlite is a white or light colored high quality insulation material made of acid volcanic glass lava (perlite) broken, sieved to a certain granularity, and then preheated and roasted at an instant high temperature. Its granules are honeycomb like structure, non-toxic, tasteless, non rot, non combustible, acid proof and alkali resistant. It can be made of different adhesives with different properties. It is characterized by light weight, good insulation and sound absorption, rich raw materials, low price, safe use and convenient construction. It can be widely used in oil, chemical, electric, construction, metallurgy and other industries. It is applied to agriculture, gardens, fertilizer, water, asepsis and air permeability.
Expanded perlite is a kind of white granular material with honeycomb structure made of perlite ore after preheating and expansion after instantaneous high temperature calcination. Its principle is: Perlite ore is broken to form a certain granularity of ore, calcined by preheating, rapidly heated (above 1000 degrees C), vaporization of water in ore sand, expansion in the softened glass containing mineral sand, forming porous structure and 10-30 times the volume expansion of non-metallic mineral products. Perlite is based on its expansion technology and use. There are three different ways: open pore (opencell), obturator (closedcell), hollow hole (balloon).
In addition to the expansion perlite, the application of all kinds of expanded perlite is basic, with the addition of different adhesives, the products can be adapted to different needs.
