In the building, it has strong corrosion resistance of acid medium, and makes acid resistant concrete and acid resistant sand pulp.
Two kinds of production methods: quartz powder dry method and water method:
1, dry quartz powder production, the main equipment are stone crusher, grinder, vibrating screen. The process process is that the quartz stone material is processed into smaller stone by a stony machine. The stone material is then processed by a shredder, then the sand is processed by a vibrating screen. In the screening process, the iron is removed by the magnet bar and the row magnet, then the storage is finished.
2, the production of quartz powder by water method, the main equipment is stone knocking machine, stone roller, barn, vibrating screen, waterway system and so on.
Its process flow is as follows: quartz stone material is processed into smaller stone through a stone crusher, the stone material is rolled into sand by rolling stone, and the water is added to the sedimentation tank, and then the sand is transported into the sedimentation tank, and then the sand in the sedimentation tank is transported into the roast room and baked into dry sand. Then, it is screened by vibrating screen and is screened in the screening process. The iron bar and magnet are removed to remove iron and then packed into storage.
The quartz sand produced by dry process is divided into two grades: ordinary quartz powder and refined quartz powder. When quartzite is extracted from the mountain, it has a yellowish brown epidermis. The product of selecting a small quartz stone material to be directly broken and sieved is called ordinary quartz sand, which shows the yellow brown and white phase. The advantage is that the price is cheap and the defect is more impurities, so it is used in the construction industry. The large mineral material is selected and the surface yellow brown skin is removed artificially, and the refined quartz is made into refined quartz. The appearance of sand is white and shiny, like white granulated sugar. The price is higher because of the time and cost of the processing.
Quartz sand produced by water method is divided into ordinary quartz powder and refined quartz powder. The smaller quartzite ore is processed into ordinary quartz sand, and the large quartzite ore is processed into refined quartz powder. Compared with dry silica powder, water quartz powder has less iron and water to wash away impurities in the process of production, such as iron content and impurities less than dry quartz sand, but because its processing is more expensive, so the price is higher.
